Ranch Rules
|
| |
1. Subject to the State of Texas game laws.
2. Absolutely no firearms are allowed on the ranch.
3. No smoking inside the bunkhouse. No exceptions!
4. Access into the headquarters house is restricted.
5. Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the camp area only.
6. No littering in camp or the pasture.
7. Clean your own dishes in the kitchen.
8. Take your food with you when you leave. If you harvest an animal, you must take the meat with you; we do not allow the meat to be wasted.
9. No yearling deer or bucks in velvet may be shot. No whitetail does may be shot in October.
10. There is no trophy or kill fee. However there will be penalty fines if you elect to take an animal not in your package or basic hunt. Penalty fines will be posted in the bunkhouse.
11. No mechanical broadheads or Draw Lock devices allowed.
12. Vehicular traffic in the pasture is limited
to: before daylight, between 10:00 a.m. and
3:00 p.m., and after dark. This traffic is
limited to the improved roads inside the
pasture. However, the road around the
perimeter fence is restricted.
No shots may be taken on animals within 100ft
of a perimeter fence. Trailblazing, herding,
or hunting animals with/from a vehicle will
result in immediate removal from the ranch.
13. Do not cross a fence. There shall be no herding of animals into a corner of the pasture.
The trap area in the SouthEast corner is restricted. No Stalking
14. If you are tracking an animal, respect other hunters and do not enter their hunting area. Report ALL shots to the guide and they will help you track your animal.
15. Any wounded animal counts as a kill.
16. There ARE rattlesnakes in the pasture, and ARE around the camp area. Be Careful!
17. Any female exotic shot carries a $300 penalty fee.
18. If you request a ride to the hunting area. The guide will transport you when he runs the feed route unless special arrangements have been made.
19. If you violate any Ranch Rules or Texas State Laws, you (and your group) will be asked to leave the ranch with forfeiture of all fees paid.
